Both job tracks use a promotion ladder: as your average skill climbs, each rank has its own pay band (the floor rises faster than the ceiling, so higher ranks pay more and more consistently) plus a shorter cooldown. Reaching Supervisor/Lieutenant unlocks a job-specific perk — Milos11 knocks 20% off Pete's Pies, Pete'sza Delivery grants a permanent +2 Speed, Krogue Wrestler Gear unlocks the exclusive Wrestling Gear Store, Getaway Driver cuts your bust chance, and The Fence knocks 15% off the Gun Club. Combat is turn-based: Punch (reliable), Heavy Strike (bigger damage, can whiff), Guard (blocks most damage, can riposte), and Weapon Attack (biggest damage if you're carrying a weapon) — Height and equipped weapons/gear boost your Attack, Speed lets you dodge outright, HP protects your cash if you lose, and a win has a chance to grant a small permanent Attack or HP boost. Crime is a set of fixed-payout crimes (Shoplifting up through Grand Theft Auto) where Attack and Speed lower your odds of getting caught; getting caught here (or anywhere) snaps your Alliance straight to Bad and escalates every future sentence until you spend cash on Community Service. Equipment has an 8-slot board — guns and melee weapons in the holster/open-carry/melee slots, and exclusive Wrestling Gear (from the Krogue Wrestler Gear job) in the helmet/chest/pants/feet slots for extra combat stats. Carrying a gun without the right license or permit risks arrest — check the law banner at the top of New Milos City. Melee weapons (brass knuckles, knives) need no license and carry no arrest risk. Skills shows XP bars for your current jobs, weapon skills, and drug-dealer reputation. Alignment shows exactly where you sit on the Good–Bad spectrum plus your overall level/stat progress toward PEAK CIVILIAN.

Repeat offenses raise your criminal record and lengthen future sentences — use Community Service (New Milos City → Crime) once you're free to pay it down.
